MILAN (AP) — The Minions made it. After a music rights dispute that took over the Winter Olympics, Spanish figure skater Tomas-Llorenc Guarino Sabate donned his yellow-and-blue costume and brought the mischievous spirit of the Minions to Milan in the men's short program Tuesday.
Marking their Olympic debut, Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik took to the ice with "Poison" and "Something in Your Eyes" by R&B group Bell Biv DeVoe. Earning their highest score of the season, Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko performed to La Bouche's "Sweet Dreams" and "100% Pure Love" by CrystalWaters.
